FAGOR® INDUCTION COOKTOPS
Energy efficient, safer, and cleaner, induction cooktops have been available in Europe for years. Fagor, the European leader of induction technology, has finally brought induction cooktops to the United States. Induction cooktops use a series of burners called induction coils, which generate magnetic fields to induct a heating reaction within the cookware itself. The pot's heat cooks the food, while the cooktop stays cool to touch. With no open flames, induction cooktops are safer to use. The flat surface is also easier to clean. An ideal choice for the environmentally conscious, IceStone® durable surface is made from recycled glass and concrete. IceStone® can be used for kitchen counters, as well as backsplashes, bathrooms, vanities, and bathroom dividers. Even interior walls, tabletops, and commercial flooring can be made from IceStone®’s durable surface. Less porous than marble, IceStone® gives you the strength of granite and heat resistance of stone. The color options are practically unlimited, with 24 standard colors to start from, all modifiable. Fabrication, installation, and care are similar to that of natural stone surfaces. Due to the high recycled content in IceStone®, using this material can gain credits towards LEED certification.
