TIPS ON MEASURING FOR CERAMIC TILE

Indicate the size of your chosen tile with the drop down menu. Then, enter the length and width in inches of the area you're tiling, rounding up to the nearest foot. Our calculator includes a 10% waste allowance to account for cut tiling and broken tiles.

If you're calculating the tile needed for border accents, you need to measure the entire length of the area your tiling in lineal feet, and the height of the border tile area in inches.

If you're tiling your kitchen backsplash or counter, you'll also need to choose trim pieces individually in the tile store.
